"And even though we try
The truth brings us to tears
All our words cannot express
The joy you brought us through the years"
(Elton John - Goodbye England Rose)
I knew Anca Parghel since I was a child. Our cities where we were born are near by. When I "grow up" artistically and started to listen to more jazz, I was adoring Anca! She was all full of smile! I remember her as shining all the time! I was listening when I was still a child at her songs played at the radio show called "Brilliant songs" by Mike Godoroja....this is how she was, and will ever be in hour hearts: Brilliant Anca!
When I was 22-24, I wanted to start a "Musical Revolution" in Romania with a radio-show: what I wanted mainly it was to develope the public taste for different kind of music (hiphop, classics, dance, jazz, rock, rap, etc) and to let people understand which is indeed MUSIC! All the radiou & televisions refused to hire me & develope my project.... I've left the Revolutin, I've left Romania...I've left ideals...When I was 26 I immigrated in Spain. Anca Parghel left Romania, too, a few years before me and in Romania she had just a few appearances per year at jazz festivals...
After 2 years of Spain, surfing on Internet I've met Anca Parghel...She said: "My name is Anca Parghel. If you want to see who I am, just check my sites and mysapce profile"...she was so modest, she didn't know that I've been worhiping her as a music Goddes since I was a child.

We've become friends, here you can see some chats & webcams with me and Anca:
Anca appreciated very much my "crazy" ideas about "The Musical Revolution" that I wanted to start in Romania (and spread it to the whole world :p) a few years ago. She called "stupid" the radious and TV channels which turned me down.:)))
I've showed her some of my lyrics:

She liked so much some of my poems that she asked me if I want to colaborate with her....Can you imagine that???? One of my childhood Music Goddes, after years, wanted to compose music on my lyrics???? I've called my parents and all my friends in Romania telling them that Anca wants to make music on my poems!!!
We've kept in touch a while by email...later I've seen on the news that she had again health problems. She never mentioned to me in our corespondence about her health problems, only about work, jazz courses, concerts, projects and travels....
On 6 December 2008 I've read the news that I never could imagine...because for me, Anca is , like every ARTIST: IMMORTAL!
